Steffane + Mikey: Tampa Wedding Photographer
I don't know if you've noticed, but it's COLD in Philadelphia these days. So today I'm happy to share my warm Tampa wedding from November. This was a bit of a crazy undertaking, to be sure. I had a triple-header that weekend and had to fly down to Tampa the very same morning of Steff and Mikey's wedding. So after Emily and Richard's wedding in Villanova, and then Max and Adrian's wedding in Lancaster, I booked it to the airport for a quick jaunt to my Tampa wedding. But Steffane never worried, or if she did, she hid it very well. Her trust in my ability to get there on time and hit the ground running is something I will cherish about her forever. But enough about me.From the very beginning, these two had an easygoing day. Mikey surprised his bride by smuggling their tiny puppy, Maddie, to the first look. Mikey turned around to reveal himself AND Maddie, and I don't know who Steff was happier to see. I also love that Mikey wears his heart on his sleeve, and it was so sweet to see him greet his bride. Not only at the first look, but again at the end of the aisle. And on the dance floor. And at the sweetheart table. He kept smiling with delight that he got to marry Steff. After a quick and humid portrait session, it was off to The Rusty Pelican for their Disney-themed ceremony and reception. No detail was left out, from the officiant's Disney-pun laden remarks, to their Ring Security walking down the aisle backed by Mission Impossible theme music. One of the coolest parts of their Disney day was the cake table, which featured a floating candelabra and ghostly portraits of the two of them that would disappear and reappear every once in a while. When Steffane and her dad approached the dance floor and the Jurassic Park theme music started up, I just about died. Here's to Mikey and Steffane!
